~Let's Walk~

Let's walk towards the love that is lost,

lets walk towards the passion that used to ignite,

let's walk towards the warm hugs that used to fill our souls,

let's walk towards those hands which never left one another,

Let's just walk towards a road which builds a road for us..

We kept walking and never stopped loving,

We kept moving on and never stopped feeling the warmth,

We kept saying we grew up, where we kept running in circles,

We said a lot of things, where not beings friends was not a part of the deal..

I wish the feelings of a young teenage were impractical,

For the remains of it left decades of wound fresh and hurting..

I wait for you on the remnant streets,

where the roses were free of thorns..

I wait for you at the empty ground,

where the hugs made waiting worthwhile..

I wait for you, and then I'm reminded of the walk you have been taking,

All of it, without me..

There's certainty in my heart, that we would never survive a room with each other, without each other,

This lifetime is a worthwhile of a memory for me, for us,

This lifetime is a worthwhile regret for me, for us..

I never wanted an ending so brutal for us,

but even though we keep walking, our hearts, our eyes wont wander, 

And that's a gift and a punishment enough for a lifetime, I guess..
