|| Whispers of the Heart and Mind ||

On restless days when the heart may stray,

The mind whispers, "Go on, it's okay,
Hold yourself a little more, be still,
Gaze at the ocean, the sky, and the hill.

I turn to the vastness, the shimmering skies,
To the moon that glows with tender sighs.
Far, far away, in a galaxy spun,
My soul waltzes with stars and the sun..

There, they are lovers, they are butterflies,
Wings of angels in crimson skies;
Petals of roses, a rapturous flight—
Oh, what a wonder! Oh, what a sight!

I turn to my mind with a quiet plea,
"Are you always this calm? So free?
How do you find your perfect grace,
While I battle storms I cannot face?"

The mind, in softness, then replied,
"I am but your mirror, your truest guide.
You are my soulmate, my sacred part,
It is my vow to shield your heart.

Each crack, each tremble, each tear you weep,
Ripples through me, shakes me deep.
So I weave for you the stars, the seas,
The moon's soft glow, the whispering breeze

For the love you feel for the heavens above,
Is the very reflection of my love.
You are my moon, my shining grace,
My quiet, my heart, my endless peace."
